Maharashtra Baseball Association (MBA), established in 2003, is affiliated to Amateur Baseball Federation of India (ABFI) and firmly believes in the fact that the game of Baseball can be developed if the grass root level is sound and hence we particularly stress on the fact that it’s important for any game to have a sound grass root system in order to achieve future success. Currently about 27 Districts are affiliated to MBA.

MBA‘s vision is very sincere yet global. The game of Baseball is termed as one of best youth sport activity, as it has become the thread that has sewn together a patchwork of nation and cultures around the world. Children in diverse nations like Mexico, Venezuela, South Africa, Australia, Germany, Russia, Poland, Canada, Israel, USA and Asian countries like China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, etc. have discovered Baseball as a way to bring their people a sport that mirrors life itself.

The emphasis on grass root level development is a worldwide phenomenon which is neglected in India this is what MBA has realized and want to develop the game at all levels in a long term vision.

• To hold inter district School & State under - 14, 16 & 18 Tournaments

• To start various leagues like Mumbai League, New Mumbai League
